Newborn to 12 months
The Mothers’ Room is a private, air-conditioned lounge located at the rear of the auditorium. It features mirrored windows for privacy and an adjustable speaker system, allowing parents to engage in the service comfortably.
12 months – 5 years
For families with children aged 1–5 years, we offer the Joey’s Program, in our recently refurbished parents’ room. This room is fully equipped to keep your little ones engaged throughout the service. During the preaching portion of the service, this room will be supervised by Expansion Kids volunteers, to provide parents with an opportunity to enjoy some kid-free time while they listen to the preaching. Alternatively, parents are always welcome to stay with their child at all times.
Prep - Year 6
Your children will love Kids Church!
While you enjoy the service, your kids - from Prep to Grade 6 - will dive into age-appropriate lessons, fun activities, and small group time designed just for them.
Sign-in opens at 9:10am.
If you’re visiting for the first time, we recommend arriving close to this time and heading to our Kids Check-In Desk so we can register your family and give you a quick tour.
Our amazing team of trained staff and volunteers are committed to making sure your kids have a safe, engaging, and fun experience while you enjoy the Sunday service.
sprouts play group
Under 5 years
Sprouts is our Mums’ Play Group that is open to the Gympie community and meets every Tuesday during the school term at Expansion Church, from 9:30–11:30am.
All mums and bubs are welcome to join us for a relaxed, free morning with coffee, morning tea, great conversation, and plenty of playtime for the little ones.
